ABOUT THIS SITE

Childhoodtraumarecovery.com  comprises over 700 free articles relating to childhood trauma by psychologist and childhood trauma survivor David Hosier BSc Hons; MSc; PGDE(FAHE).

The philosophy behind this site is, primarily, that the better we understand the causes of our dysfunctional and self-defeating behaviors, thought processes and emotions, the better equipped we are to overcome them. This is borne out from my own personal experience and was my main motivation behind creating this site which will now, I hope, also help others.

Article topics include : how childhood trauma can adversely affect the physical development of various regions of the brain  and childhood trauma symptoms (see below) :

ABOUT DAVID HOSIER :

David Hosier BSc Hons; MSc; PGDE(FAHE) is a psychologist, researcher and educationalist as well as the founder of this site on which he has published over 800 articles. He has also published several books based on these articles.

He was educated at Goldsmiths College, University of London and holds two degrees in psychology together with a postgraduate diploma in education and  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). He has worked as a lecturer, teacher and researcher of psychology. His qualifications exceed those required for membership of the British Psychological Society.
